NEF Renewables is a department within the National Energy Foundation developing services to promote renewable energy. There is a strong interest and general awareness in climate change and renewable energy issues. However individuals and organisations can find it difficult to move from the sources of general information about renewable energy technologies, which are available, to more specific and detailed information and advice concerning applications of renewable energy and suppliers of goods and services.
Currently NEF Renewables is managing a number of projects aimed at raising the awareness of the general public. We work closely with local authorities and our promotional work takes us to schools, community groups, businesses and public events.
