Scootering provides a practical, cost effective alternative to car ownership, helping to reduce congestion and inefficiency. Many families are now choosing a scooter rather than buying a second car. A 125cc machine can be ridden on a learner licence and will typically cost under 10 pence per mile to run.
Two stroke scooters are generally lighter with better relative performance but four stroke machines have better fuel economy and better overall emission levels.

Scootering Tips:
Select an efficient 4-stroke machine or an electric model.
125cc is probably a good entry level size.
Select a reliable manufacturer who provides good parts and service backup with warranty.
Always buy the best helmet your budget allows with the correct protective clothing
