Vehicle Converters CNG |
CNG Friday 04 March 2005 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is an alternative vehicle fuel which produces considerably less co2 than petrol or diesel. CNG is compressed to 2400 – 3600 pounds per square inch in specially designed and constructed cylinders. Fuelling can take place at specially equipped petrol stations, the number of which is increasing in the UK. CNG compares favourably to petrol in most respects, particularly in cost and environmental friendliness, and doesn’t compromise on performance.
