It is well documented that co2 from car exhausts is the most dangerous of greenhouse gases, which contribute to climate change. Consequently, it is imperative that companies and authorities who use several vehicles, for instance in fleets, ensure that their environmental practices are up to date.

Vehicles are now taxed in accordance to their co2 emission levels. This measure has been introduced to encourage vehicle users to review their vehicle’s environmental performance and bring attention to co2-free alternative fuels, such as LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas).

Simple vehicle maintenance and responsible driving are other ways in which motoring can be made greener. For instance, careful road handling helps extend the life of tyres, which are responsible for extensive landfill occupation, air pollution and littering.
