ICLEI2005-02-28 The International Council for Local Environment Initiatives (ICLEI) is a Toronto based organisation that associates local governments around the world in order to encourage and over-see the implementation environmentally-friendly legislation. ICLEI is currently spearheading the ecological campaign Cities for Climate Protections and an initiative to spur Local Agenda 21 action, among other campaigns. |
